Sight-seeing balloon safaris in Queen Elizabeth began in 2014, and the excursions are overseen by Balloon Tours Uganda Ltd., an organization that has been approved to lead sight-seeing balloon safaris in Queen Elizabeth by the Civil Aviation Authority, Uganda Wildlife Authority, and National Environmental Management Authority. Tourist balloon adventures in the recreation area begin at 5: 30 a.m., when visitors are picked up from their hotel and transported to the dispatch site for a briefing on safety precautions and activities before the safari begins.

    Once you have landed at the departing point, you will be served with a some cup of tea while the officials or the guides are arranging and assembling the hot air balloon. Once all the tests are done to ensure that it is good to go, then the visitors are told to start the safaris after they have been clearly briefed. You should be able to arrive early in the morning because the safaris depart around 6 a.m. and can last an hour or two, depending on the weather and the amount of fuel available in the hot air balloon safari. In the hot air balloon can fly as high as 760 meters, and this experience enables the visitors to see and enjoy the wildlife species in their natural habitats as well as all the attractions in the national park. This experience also provides the visitors with better photographic opportunities.

    After the sight-seeing balloon safari experience, guests will be served an English bramble breakfast, which will be accompanied by a sparkling non-alcoholic wine from Mweya safari stop’s experienced culinary experts.
