The Pakuba airfield in Murchison Falls National Park has been designed to enjoy and serve the people or tourists who do visit the areas of Pakuba, which is found within the Nwoya district of northern Uganda. The Pakuba airstrip is registered with the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda and is one of five airstrips in Uganda that handle international flights while also promoting tourism as a safari destination in various national parks throughout Uganda and the entire East African region.

Pakuba airfield in Murchison Falls National Park is located in Murchison Falls National Park, which is located in the northwestern part of Uganda in the Albertine region. From Entebbe International Airport, the Pakuba airstrip is about 275 kilometers away from the Bugungu airstrip and about twenty-two from the West Chobe Safari Lodge Airport, which is also found in the Murchison Falls National Park.

The Pakuba airfield in Murchison Falls National Park plays an important role in the tourism industry in the Albertine region, and it has got both the entry points and the exit points for visitors who would like to explore Uganda as the pearl of Africa.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest national park in Uganda and the most visited national park by both international and domestic tourists. Murchison Falls national park covers about 3900 square kilometers, extending up to Karuma Falls in the Albertine Crack Valley. Murchison Falls Public Park is one of Uganda’s most popular tourist destinations due to its rich variety of warm-blooded animals, including over 76 well-developed creature species, over 500 bird species, and several tree species. The recreation area is torn up by the waters of the longest waterway’s regular miracle, forming a booming break of fiend cauldron.

Still, Murchison Falls is a haven for various animal species such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, the Uganda kobs, giraffes, and the hartebeest, forest pigs, and warthogs, among others. These animals provide visitors with the opportunity to see and experience life in the wild.

Additionally, Murchison Falls National Park harbors more than 500 species of birds, and most of these birds are spotted in the Kaniyo Pabidi forest, where bird watching is always done. The long-toed plover, giant kingfisher, yellow-footed flycatcher, grey-headed kingfisher, African darter, Osprey, and black-headed lapwing are among the bird species found here, as are chimpanzees, red monkeys, blue monkeys, and black-headed monkeys, among other interesting characteristics. With an experienced guide, you will be able to encounter all these wonderful species of birds.

Domestic standard chartered flights are primarily used by luxury travelers who wish to spend their time in the Murchison Falls National Park participating in a variety of safari activities. Visitors to Murchison Falls national park will engage in various activities, and these include game viewing, bird watching safaris, boat cruises on the Nile, as well as involving yourself in cultural activities, especially at the Boomu village, where you will learn the African traditional style of doing things, including the local dances, and where possible, you can also do sport fishing. All these activities can be done throughout the year, but the dry season from June to September is the best time for visiting Murchison Falls National Park.

Tourists going to explore Murchison Falls National Park using air transport to Pakuba airstrip should not be concerned about where to stay because the recreation area provides wonderful convenience offices ranging from mid-reach to luxury reach. Cabins include the Paraa Safari Lodge, Red Chill Safari Lodge, Shoebill Rest Camp, Pakuba Lodge, Chobe Safari Lodge, Budongo eco-Lodge, and others.

Therefore, the Pakuba airstrip or airfield gives options for visitors who use air transport to reach the Murchison Falls National Park, where they can land as they enter the Murchison Falls National Park to do the stunning wildlife safari activities within this park. The use of the Murchison Falls National Park saves time for the visitors and avoids border issues caused by the long distance to access the park on the road.
