When to visits the Uganda National Parks

Surely, there is no specific time that one can be sure of when to visit the Uganda national Parks but what is clear and well known is that the Uganda n parks are open throughout the year and this implies that the parks can be visited throughout the year without any question. The Ugandan park receives visitors on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and any time you book the Uganda safaris to national parks you will be able to come and enjoy the great wonderful destinations and thus you don’t need to keep wondering if you can go and visit the Ugandan national parks any time of the year.

A quick reminder is that Uganda has 10 national parks which are open all the year round and these parks include Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison falls National park, Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park, the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Semuliki National Park, Kidepo Valley National park, Mount Elgon National Park, Mountain Rwenzori National Park, and Kibale Forest National Park. These parks are allocated in the various parts of the country but majorly they are found in southwestern and western Uganda and where you will be able to go and enjoy these animals.

Various factors determine the visitors to visit the Uganda national parks and some of the reasons or factors include the altitude and the topography of the park and where they are located. You find that most of these parks are located to 1000 and above meters above the sea level and such altitude affects the climate and the weather of the given area., you cannot talk about Uganda best time to go in the wildness and you miss to talk about that the fact that Uganda sits on the equator actually the equators divide Uganda and with this equator then there must be temperature differences and most of the countries crossed by the equators, experience the tropical type of climate in most cases and thus the combination of these factors are responsible for the weather and climate in Uganda.

The western region of Uganda where most of the Uganda national parks are located including the queen Elizabeth National Park is hilly and always wet most of the time, the region receives heavy rainfall especially during the wet season, and the rainy season comes in April, May. This is the time when the safari activities are limited and the parks are visited by few visitors, it is termed as the low season in the tourism industry. However at the time, it cannot rain for the whole day and this makes it easy for some other safari activities to continue despite the rainy and still, you can see the endangered mountain gorillas even when it is raining so you don’t need to miss out the opportunity of seeing the gorillas because of the weather as these can be seen any time of the year.

Visiting the Uganda parks in the low season is so interesting as most of the discounts are given during the low season. You will enjoy the discounts on the accommodation because of the low season. Visitors still will have the chance to enjoy the Murchison falls National Park and this place is found within the eastern region which is a bit dry even during the wet season. Here you will go and enjoy the wildlife safaris, where you will be able to see the animals including the big four animals. You can still enjoy the game drives which are conducted on the River Nile that is located on the Murchison Falls National Park.

The month of June and September is the peak season where all the visitors flock to the Uganda Park to come and enjoy the wildlife. Most of the visitors come because the weather is favorable for wildlife safaris. Because it is the dry season and the creatures are easily visible at water openings to quench their thirst, this is unquestionably a travel business period. The hotels are generally reserved for full houses during this peak season, so you can be sure of the guest organization and possibly meet some long-term companions.

The month of January, February, and December, provides the best time for wildlife sightings in the National Park. This time is also important for you to enjoy the best of the wildlife safaris in Uganda. As you enjoy in the Murchison falls National Park, you will stay at different lodges which are so much interesting and the lodges where you can stay and include the Chobe safari lodge, Chobe lodge and these are best lodges where you can stay during the Wildlife and your visits to best Uganda National Park.

Activities such as the gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Mgahinga can be easily done during the dry season while the birding safaris can easily be done within the wet season and this makes it wonderful. There is one point to note regarding Uganda’s and Africa’s climatic climates: Africa’s downpours are abrupt and can occur at any time of year. Even though the rainy season lasts only a few months, nighttime rains might occur even during the dry season. It is also not an indisputable condition for precipitation throughout the rainy season; certain months of the wet season are dry with even no rainfall, so you should be flexible while planning Ugandan safaris.

Book your safari to visit the Uganda national park any time because the conditions in Uganda favor you to explore the country all the time. I am sure you will testify this when you land in Uganda the pearl of Africa.
