Born and raised in Uganda, I am an East African Safari Specialist with over 14 years of experience, dedicated to curating unforgettable safari adventures across the Great Lakes Region, including Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya.
I have passion for community tourism and its potential to empower women and local communities, a topic that served as the focus of my MBA thesis.
In 2017, I co-founded Exclusive Uganda Safaris, a locally owned and managed Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Kampala, Uganda. We specialize in crafting tailor-made and set group tours throughout the East Africa Region. Our meticulously designed packages cater to your interests, schedule, and budget, ensuring an unparalleled commitment to excellence. Our offerings span diverse experiences, including wildlife encounters, cultural immersions, birdwatching expeditions, mountain treks, and Gorilla and Chimpanzee Safaris.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Makerere University Kampala.

Imelda Nakandi

Imelda, a native of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, is a co-founder of Exclusive Uganda Safaris and holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the prestigious Makerere University.
With an extensive knowledge of Uganda and its neighboring countries, including Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, Imelda brings over 14 years of expertise as a Safari designer and Tour consultant to the table.
Her passion lies in driving the team at Exclusive Uganda Safaris to prioritize professionalism and deliver exceptional services to clients. Imelda dedicates her time to exploring new destinations and products, ensuring that clients experience the extraordinary, off-the-beaten-path, while traveling with us. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to curating unique experiences has made her an invaluable asset to the company

Edward Nyonyintono
Senior Safari Designer
Born and raised in Uganda, Edwards is a graduate of Makerere University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism. He has also received training in various business areas such as communication, digital marketing, and business finance.
With over 8 years of experience in Safari operations, Edwards is deeply passionate about tourism. Over the past 8 years, he has extensively explored Uganda, gaining extensive product knowledge which he enjoys sharing with colleagues and travelers to create unforgettable Safari experiences across the region.
Outside of work, Edwards is a devoted family man, with a wife and a wonderful son.

Ismail Kiganda Sembatya

Isma brings a wealth of 16 years of professional guiding experience to the team!
A highly dedicated individual and passionate storyteller, Isma's deep appreciation for nature, culture, and history will undoubtedly reignite your love for Uganda time and time again.
Ismail, a mechanical engineer by training, has received extensive training as both a guide and a driver.
Fluent in English and Luganda, Isma has explored every corner of Uganda and has a keen interest in photography, ensuring you capture that perfect image while traveling with him.
Moses Lubowa
Driver/Guide
Moses, a highly experienced guide in Uganda, has been leading safaris across all East African countries for the past two decades. He has a keen interest in nature, culture, and wildlife. Moses holds a certificate in vocational studies and has obtained multiple guiding accreditations throughout his career
Some of Moses's hobbies include traveling, reading, and listening to music. He enjoys exploring new places, immersing himself in different cultures, and gaining new perspectives through travel.
Adrian Ddungu
Driver/Guide
Adrian Ddungu, a Muganda by tribe from Kyotera district in southern Uganda, he holds a Bachelor's degree in community-based rehabilitation, a diploma in mobility and rehabilitation, and has undergone multiple trainings as a safari guide.
With a wealth of experience spanning approximately 15 years in the tourism industry, Adrian has garnered numerous accolades for his exemplary professionalism.
He currently serves as one of the tourist guides assessors, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that tourist guides in Uganda consistently meet and exceed expectations in their roles.
Nickson Kabesime
Driver/Guide
Nicson is a dedicated field tour guide for Uganda and Rwanda, specializing in wildlife, culture, and birds for the past decade.
He received his training as a guide from the Katwe Institute of Wildlife, Conservation, and Environment and is a proud member of the Uganda Safari Guides Association (USAGA).
Outside of work, Nicson is a family man who enjoys traveling and swimming.
Rodriguez Makombe
French Driver/Guide
Makombe Rodman Rodrigue is a dedicated tour guide fluent in both French and English. With over 8 years of experience, Rodman possesses extensive expertise in wildlife, culture, and community tourism.
He is proficient in various languages, including Kiswahili, French, English, and several Ugandan local languages, allowing him to provide top-notch service to his clients.
Rodman holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and has completed various training programs in tourism.
Outside of work, he finds joy in traveling, swimming, and cherishing quality time with his family.
Bayer Ninyesiga

Bayer Benjamin is a seasoned guide with over 10 years of experience leading safaris in East Africa. His extensive background in wildlife tourism is complemented by an 8-year tenure with the Uganda Wildlife Authority, where he served as a ranger guide. During this time, he honed his expertise in various national parks and game reserves across Uganda, acquiring a profound understanding of wildlife behavior and conservation.
